Twisted Estates, located at 15200 Laramie Ave in Oak Forest, Illinois, now in it's third year, was visited by Nightmare City Halloween for the second time and it was better than ever.
It was a pleasant October night as we arrived to a packed street full of vehicles, people buzzing about, and the haunt in full swing with spectacular displays and odd creatures lurking about. There was even a food truck to feed the hungry horde.
Twisted Estates is a walk-through Halloween gem with many creative scary scenarios and plenty of scares. It's the absolute best haunted attraction in our neighborhood, rivaling any professional haunted house I have ever visited.
Tricia, Tyler, & Jim are the creative minds behind the 2000 square feet Twisted Estates, which this year features a new Swamp House Intro Facade along with a brand new Entrance to the Haunted House.
The most impressive aspect of Twisted Estates is the evident devotion for the Halloween season and the attention to detail put into the entire experience. It goes beyond a labor of love to skilled craftsmanship, creativity and execution of room design and yard scenes, and the talented actors who give their all in presentation and performance.
The attraction was packed with a large celebratory and excited crowd eager to experience the horrifying haunt filled with various scenes, twists and turns and many great frightening moment.
Twisted Estates is opened through October on Friday and Saturdays from 7:00-10:00 PM, and Sundays 7:00-9:00 PM, so don't miss your chance to experience this incredible spooky site.
The haunt is free, but donations are welcome.
