3 October 2026:
Twisted Estates, now in its fifth season, is located at 15200 Laramie Ave in Oak Forest, Illinois. Nightmare City Halloween visited for the third year, discovering updated excellence and frights.
It was the season opening on a pleasant October night and visitors wasted no time getting out and starting the Halloween season with an expectation of a spooky experience.
Twisted Estates is a walk-through Halloween haunted attraction with a slew of scary scenarios and frightening monsters of all kinds throughout. It is absolutely the best haunted event in our area, and rivals any professional haunted house I have ever visited.
Twisted Estates featured many new rooms, walkways, and a really cool neon sign.
It's amazing the depth of detail and skill employed to create this incredible haunted house experience. The monsters are top notch, as is the lighting and sounds that make the entire experience so frightening and rewarding.
Twisted Estates is opened Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00-10:00 PM, and Sundays 7:00-9:00 PM. October 2026 has 5 weekends so there is plenty of opportunity to make it out and experience the horror for yourself.
The haunt is free, but donations are welcome.
