Disney Forever - Haunted Mansion - Deluxe Edition
I have collected together all of the Haunted Mansion tracks available from the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Forever kiosks. Much thanks to the creators of the Forever Project for these great tracks!
Original recordings February to April 1969, unless otherwise indicated.
Disneyland Forever:
Track 1:
Haunted Mansion, "Foyer Music" 1:59 MONO
• This track contains two loops of the music Guests hear when entering the Haunted Mansion building. This track was originally known as "Organ Music." The track was available on Walt Disney World Forever as Haunted Mansion, "Grim Grinning Ghosts" (Foyer Music).
Track 2:
Haunted Mansion, "Doom Buggy Boarding Music" 2:00 MONO
• This track contains two loops of the boarding music. The track was available on Walt Disney World Forever as Haunted Mansion, "Grim Grinning Ghosts" (Doombuggy Boarding Music).
Track 3:
Haunted Mansion, "Ballroom Organ" 2:00 MONO
• This track contains two loops of the organ heard in the Haunted Mansion scene technically known as the Grand Hall, but commonly referred to as the Ballroom. The room's organ was used in the 1954 Disney film "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" and appeared in the Tomorrowland exhibit. This track was originally known as Haunted Mansion, "Pipe Organ." The track was available on Walt Disney World Forever as Haunted Mansion, "Grim Grinning Ghosts" (Ballroom).
Track 4:
Haunted Mansion, "Graveyard Music" 1:47 MONO
• This is an instrumental music bed of "Grim Grinning Ghosts" heard throughout the Graveyard. The original release played the loop slightly more than twice; a May 1999 revision cleaned it up.
Track 5:
Haunted Mansion, "Exit Crypt Music" 1:59 MONO
• These two tracks contain the exit music (to the tune of "Grim Grinning Ghosts"). This May 1999 revision eliminates the Little Leota "Hurry back…" exit narration.
Track 6:
Haunted Mansion, "Full Show" 1 of 4 (unreleased) 4:15 MONO
• The track contains music, narration, and sound effects from the Foyer through the load area.
Track 7:
Haunted Mansion, "Full Show" 2 of 4 (unreleased) 5:47 MONO
• The track contains music, narration, and sound effects from the load area to the Grand Hall.
Track 8:
Haunted Mansion, "Full Show" 3 of 4 (unreleased) 5:34 STEREO
• The track contains music, narration, and sound effects from the Grand Hall through the Graveyard.
Track 9:
Haunted Mansion, "Full Show" 4 of 4 (unreleased) 5:36 STEREO
• The track contains music, narration, and sound effects from the Graveyard through the unload area, but not does contain the Little Leota "Hurry back…" exit narration.
• The above four tracks are an older flow-through of the Haunted Mansion than that created for the "Haunted Mansion 30th Anniversary" CD.
Track 10:
Haunted Mansion, "Graveyard Music" (original release) 2:04 MONO
• The track was available on Walt Disney World Forever as Haunted Mansion, "Grim Grinning Ghosts" (Graveyard).
Track 11:
Haunted Mansion, "Exit Crypt Music" (original release) 2:22 MONO
• This track was originally known as "Grim Grinning Ghosts." A similar version of the track was available on Walt Disney World Forever as Haunted Mansion, "Grim Grinning Ghosts" (Doombuggy Exit Music). In the WDWF track, Little Leota is heard first (as she is in the WDW attraction); here, the voice of Leota Toombs follows the music loop.
Walt Disney World Forever:
Track 12:
Haunted Mansion, "Foyer Music" 1:56 MONO
Track 13:
Haunted Mansion, "Doom Buggy Boarding Music" 1:57 MONO
Track 14:
Haunted Mansion, "Ballroom Organ" 2:02 MONO
Track 15:
Haunted Mansion, "Graveyard Music" 2:02 MONO
Track 16:
Haunted Mansion, "Exit Crypt Music" 2:22 MONO

I wouldn't have found your site if I hadn't followed through a message you left on Scar Stuff, but I must say while you didn't get around to sharing a lot, the handful of shares you have here are truly amazing! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteBest rip I've ever heard of these! Vinnie sent me here a few days ago. Then I just happened to bop into Scar Stuff for some rips I'd lost, and saw your comment. I hope in the future you get a chance to share some of the stuff from the old Scar Stuff blog. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteWhat the previous couple of dudes said but I caught your blog from your comment at http://scarysounds.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteAnyway, megaupload is unusually slow at the moment but I'm sure it's worth it. Thanks!
